Preparing for a speech in a Communication class consisted of me recording my speech. Wow, I did not like watching myself speak! Do you? My guess is a big NO! I found that recording and watching my video helped with mannerisms and vocal pitch/delivery. I had no idea that I spoke in patterns and use the same gestures until I saw my videos.
How will you practice your presentations? If you had to give your speech in front of your peers how could you insure they understood your intended meaning? I like using pictures, videos, and handouts to illustrate my main points.

It is very important that you use the key terms in your answers and that you refer to the important concepts from the lesson and textbook in your answers. Writing only your own ideas will make it difficult to assess your learning of the lesson content.
